Iran is ready to reinitiate atomic discussions with Washington as long as it is approached with "dignity" and "honor", Tehran's top diplomat has stated.

The Iranian diplomat declared solely negotiations worked, and revealed new appeals had been made by intermediaries to restart negotiations with the American leadership. He claimed Iran had zero unreported enrichment locations, and Tehran had not yet reached a point to authorize the global atomic watchdog to visit bombed nuclear sites for safety concerns.

Navigating a Complex Route

Araghchi is treading a complex route since Iran does not want appear to be proceeding from a stance of vulnerability, and he insisted repeatedly that Iran had arisen stronger militarily and mentally from the coordinated strike on its nuclear sites in June.

He was addressing at a defense forum in Tehran where he reaffirmed that Iran had "a fundamental entitlement to enrich uranium on home soil that it will never give up" – the main reason of the deadlock in the earlier negotiations.

Prior Talks Suddenly Concluded

The earlier sessions of negotiations between the United States and Iran were ended suddenly and bitter conclusion on 12 June when Israel, with Washington's assistance, targeted Tehran's atomic facilities in a two-week conflict that ended with Donald Trump claiming the sites had been obliterated. Following this, EU nations employed their authority to reinstate global restrictions, but Iran insists they have not had a substantial consequence.

Perfect Agreement Proposed

Iran's diplomats said they felt they had reached a "magic solution" to the uranium processing matter in prior discussions, when it was agreed an Iran-based consortium with Washington's engagement could process nuclear material. The two nations would have been able to claim victory since home-based processing would have persisted and the US could be certain that Iran's enrichment initiative was exclusively peaceful.

It had not been decided in the discussions that American atomic experts could function within Iranian territory, but that was a logical implication of the consortium proposal. Current Status

He stated: "We successfully passed this engagement. Our atomic expertise, which they aimed to eliminate, remains in place. The installations and equipment, if eliminated, will be rebuilt; what is crucial is the will of the nation of Iran and then the social solidarity that they aimed at, but did not succeed to shatter. The nation of Iran have grown more powerful, more united, and more endorsing of the administration and the state in the aftermath of this attack."
